〔古文〕屰《廣韻》几據切《集韻》訖逆切，
音㻷。有枝兵也。《增韻》雙枝爲戟，單枝爲戈。《釋名》戟，格也，傍有枝格也。《典略》周有雍狐之戟。《周禮·冬官考工記》戟廣寸有半寸，內三之，胡四之，援五之。《註》戟，今三鋒戟也。內長四寸半，胡長六寸，援長七寸半。
又地名。《戰國策》秦舉安邑，而塞女戟。《註》女戟在太行西。
